After telling what you were actually doing, you should mention, what was the result of your actions. Therefore, here, in the third sentence of your abstract you need to include the main results you have got during the research.

Phrases to use: Having done the research it was discovered that…, in this study we investigated that… etc.


     4. Discussion

It is high time to briefly analyze the findings. You should mention what conclusion have you come to from the results you have received. Remember, that you have a limit of 1 sentence.

Phrases to use: this shows that…, this confirms the fact, that… etc.


     5. Conclusion

Finally, conclude your abstract. Beside the main conclusion for the research you can emphasize on the importance of the research carried.
